Please join us for our next COP virtual meeting Wednesday May 21st, 7.00pm You are warmly invited to join a collaborative discussion focused on structuring and implementing social goals in Horticultural Therapy programming for the elder population. How do HT's foster interpersonal relationships within therapy group sessions, particularly when working with the senior population across the continuum of care and specialized support or community group? What do the terms friendship and community mean within these groups and to the families of the participants? In this session, we aim to explore strategies, challenges, and best practices for creating meaningful connections among group members from varying backgrounds, experiences, and with specific needs. Whether you work with older adults in the public domain, the elderly within the continuum of care, or specialized communities, your insights will be invaluable to this conversation.
