Looking to expand your activities repertoire? Join us to learn about two unique hands-on activities tailored for therapeutic horticulture practitioners!

Mikkele Lawless, HT MCMG, invites us to discover the calming art of felting while incorporating therapeutic benefits of working with natural materials.  Learn techniques to create felted soap while blending the sensory experience of touch and aroma. Participants will explore creative methods for enhancing well-being through tactile engagement and natural therapies.  

Bambi Orban, HT, will demonstrate Nature Printing (also known as Eco Printing), involving the transfer of colors and shapes of plant material onto fabric and/or paper through the use of moisture and heat.  The end result is a piece of art that can be displayed or used in another project.  This is a fun activity that encourages participant creativity, while also providing learning opportunities.
